The Smok T-PRIV Kit is the newest entry in the 'PRIV' series of kits from Smok. It follows on from the H-PRIV in 2015 and last year's much-loved G-PRIV, which featured a huge OLED touch screen. The T-PRIV is a high-powered 220W kit which comes with both the 220W Smok T-PRIV mod, and the Smok TFV8 Big Baby sub-ohm tank.
The T-PRIV mod is a dual 18650 (batteries sold separately) mod supporting up to 220 watts of power, depending on the tank or rebuildable you put on top. It features Smok's patented side-firing button for ease of use, and a large top OLED touch screen.
The large LED screen shows you the following information: mode (wattage or temperature mode), voltage, resistance, current wattage and/or temperature, puff timer and current battery charge for each 18650 cell.
The T-PRIV supports both wattage mode for all wattage coils (from 0.1 ohms to 3 ohms), and temperature mode for Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel coils (from 0.06 ohms to 3 ohms). The temperature range is between 100-315 degrees Celsius (200-600 degrees Fahrenheit).
The device is tiny, too - among the shortest available for a dual 18650 device. It measures 86.6mm tall, 48.1mm wide and 32mm deep. The device also features a cut-out chassis design, beneath which are a series of LED lights which can be customised to whichever colour you most prefer: red, green, blue, yellow, magenta, cyan, white or rainbow.
The Smok TFV8 Big Baby tank is a top-filling 5ml tank of 24.5mm diameter. It comes with a 0.4 ohm V8 Baby-Q2 coil pre-installed, and a spare 0.15 ohm V8 Baby-T8 octuple coil spare. Also included is a replacement glass tube, charging cable for the device, and user manual.
